Community Café in South Woodford for the Autistic community

London Autism Group charity organises community cafes for the Autistic community around London to provide a safe, inclusive, accessible and free space for the entire Autistic community to meet up in person. The nearest one to Waltham Forest is in neighbouring South Woodford.

The community café is held at St Mary's Parish Church, 207 High Road, South Woodford, E18 2PA on every last Sunday of the month from 1pm to 3pm. The next one is on Sunday 24th November.

Come and chat to others who have experienced something similar, get advice, or simply relax with a warm drink. These are drop-in sessions so no pre-registration is required. Anyone connected with the Autistic community is invited including Autistic adults and children (you don't need an official Autism diagnosis), parent/carer and wider family members.

There will be free drinks and snacks available, sensory items and some games to play as well as a music therapy session for those who wish to take part.

The session also gives people access to the Charity's resources where they can find support, advice and other help.
