A weekly Walthamstow Village Wellbeing walk will be run every Wednesday from 4th October, at 2pm to 3pm. Free for all to join and suitable for all ages.
World Menopause Day is being held on 18 October. The purpose of the day, led by the International Menopause Society, is to raise awareness of the menopause and the support options available for improving health and wellbeing. This year’s theme is cardiovascular disease.
World Mental Health Day has been celebrated on 10 October since 1992. The theme of the 2023 day, set by the World Federation of Mental Health, is “Mental health is a universal human right”
Care and support for people at the end of life needs to be delivered with compassion and care.
The NHS are inviting those with experience of end of life or palliative care to give their views. This may be from their own personal experience, their experiences caring for a family member, or from a bereavement in the last year. This may include children, young people, as well as adults.
