If you have COPD, you can help co-design a new service

A research study called UPTURN is aiming to create a service to help people access their treatment for a lung disease called Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) also known as emphysema or chronic bronchitis.
COPD co-design project

UPTURN (https://www.upturn-study.co.uk/) are recruiting their Co-design team to begin work to design the service which will go on to be evaluated in a clinical trial.

People with lived experience of COPD – either diagnosed themselves, or caring for someone with COPD.

The aim for the team to be as diverse as possible so that a wide range of perspectives can be shared.

People who’ve experienced barriers to accessing health services and would like to help design an accessible and inclusive service are particularly welcome.

The workshops will take place in central London. Travel costs will be covered and lunch will be provided. There will be three workshops which participants are asked to do their best to join all three. Participants will be given vouchers in recognition for their time.
